# Straight talk

**Markets can go to zero.** A market on Dynamic Hooks is a token with locked liquidity and a program. The program changes economics; it does not create demand. Most markets anywhere end at zero.

**Rules are only as good as their conditions.** A `Verified` rule trusts a verifier's signature. A `State` rule trusts the chain. We publish the allow-list and the code, and we run the first verifier ourselves. If you would not trust us to sign, do not launch a market that depends on our signature.

**Verification is not endorsement.** A creator proving a handle means the money goes to them. It does not mean they asked for the market, like it, or will ever acknowledge it.

**Stock-quoted markets inherit their issuer's rules.** Who can hold a Stock Token, and where, is decided by its issuer, not by this protocol.

**$DHOOKS comes first.** The token comes before the protocol. Its price is set by a market. Buybacks are how the protocol spends part of its revenue, not a floor under anything. Until markets open, holding $DHOOKS is holding a position in the plan written here, and plans can fail.

**No one from this project will ever message you first,** ask for a seed phrase, or send a claim link. The only addresses that matter are on the [Addresses](/addresses.md) page.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.dynamichooks.com/straight-talk.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
